‘WONDERFUL VOCAL EXPRESSION’ Kurjit Bhamra OBE - Music Producer

THE TEN FACES OF KALI is the more that sum of its parts. A beautiful and easy juxtaposition of eastern and western, of ancient and modern, of hedonistic and spiritual.

A aural sweet spot of electronic dance and classical tantric philosophy, where the audience can combine the deep transcendent experiences from both.

This show is not only relevant and accessible to generations of music lovers, but the experience has been formed to work on deeper levels to leave a lasting imprint.

In Sanskrit, a language that is beautiful in its own mystical way, she reels the mantras of 10 mythic goddesses, sublimely emoting the realms of mythology, and in spoken word she poetically paints the same glorious picture.

The music and soundscapes fill that room have been co-produced by the acclaimed talents of Andy Guthrie (Banco De Gaia) and Paul Nanga (Lucid Matra).

THE TEN FACES OF KALI is more than voice and music; moving visual works form the next dimension of the experience.  Hypnotic geometric yantras, born from the same mythic and spiritual history used for millennia for deep relaxation are tastefully brought alive.

The artists Nulipta Tuli and new talent Alex Lewis, use these geometries with the powerful medium of LED video walls to power personal immersion. The video is twinned with a lighting design from Matthew Button (Chemical Brothers) that allows the 4 mediums to chime and the narrative to shine through.

Production management by Alex Turner (Disclosure) will deliver the execute the show in a time honoured professional reliable way.
